MARC LEBER BRINGS THE CONSULATE TO THIRD AVENUE

LEASED | 560 Third Avenue has been leased to The Consulate, a charming French-inspired brasserie and bar. The space consists of 4,200 square foot space, 20-foot ceilings and an additional 2,000 square feet of outdoor patio space that can be used for outdoor dining. 560 Third Avenue was formerly home to Tex-Mex restaurant El Rio Grande for 45 years.

This will be the Consulate’s third location in Manhattan, with its first location on the Upper West Side at 519 Columbus Avenue and its second in Midtown located at 44 W 56th Street. Identical twins Kiril Mihajlov and Metodija Mihajlov are behind The Consulate’s three locations. The exotic restaurant and cocktail bar is set to capture the city’s rich diversity and vibrant mix of world influences throughout its concept, food & beverage and design.

Marc Leber of Zelnik & Company represented the Tenant on the transaction while Max Kreinces of Retail by Mona represented the Landlord.

Situated at the base of a 264-unit luxury residential building, in the heart of Murray Hill, The Consulate is slated to open later this year.
